Electrical Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
- Project support with respect to scoping, design review, inspection and commissioning of new electrical equipments
- Review of design packages for compliance with industry and company standards
- Provide technical support to plant maintenance personnel including troubleshooting and forensic analysis of electrical faults
- Initiate or conduct special electrical studies for improving facilities power systems
- Provide specialized technical service in electrical engineering fields
- Formally designs or studies electrical modifications based on project requirements
- Design and coordinate or direct work of other engineers
- Provide testing, pre-com and commissioning procedure and lead the implementation
- Provide operation and maintenance procedure of the equipment
- Support project HSE campaign
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma and/or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related working experiences
- Know ETAP and/or SKM software to perform power system load flow short circuit studies
- Hands on experience working with Un-interruptible Power Supply System, GIS systems, power transformers
- Experience working on HV and LV switchgears and LV MCCs will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of substations equipment and electrical distribution systems along with maintenance and operation expertise
- Familiar with engineering practices, codes and international standards requirement, calculation methods and design details
- Self-motivated and with excellent communication skills are required
